The Working Holiday visas provide opportunities for people between 18 and 30 from arrangement countries to holiday in Australia and to supplement their travel funds through incidental employment. You can apply for this visa just once, it's valid for one year and costs €120,-. But you can also get a regular tourist visa. An electronic visa will cost you €12,- and has a 3 month validity. The other one is for 6 months and is €50,-.
With a working holiday visa your passport needs to be valid for another 6 months from the day that you leave Australia. With a tourist visa you just have to make sure that your passport is still valid when you leave the country.

Nederlandse Wie in Australië naast het reizen ook wil werken kan tot zijn 31ste een working holiday visa aanvragen. Dit kan eenmalig, het visum is een jaar geldig en kost €120,-. Maar een toeristenvisum aanvragen kan ook: Een electronisch visum kost je €12,- en is 3 maanden geldig. Ook visa voor 6 maanden tot een jaar zijn te krijgen, kosten zijn dan €50
Het paspoort dient voor een toeristenvisum minimaal geldig te zijn tot je vertrek uit Australië, voor een working holiday visum is dit tot 6 maanden na vertrek uit Australië.
